EVE-RO is Recruiting

EVE-RO members are as close in real life as much as in the world of gaming who continue to develop and expand the EVE Online experience.

If you are a serious EVE Online player, if you think you can take a good joke, if you are a team player (and on the same time self-sufficient) and you would like to bond new friendships, or try new things in EVE Online then our doors are opened.

If we made you curious then contact one of our recruiters:

Ade4ro

We are looking for people who play this game at least on a weekly basis and who are willing to attend to corporation OP's. We DON'T have a SP or experience limit but we do require our members to meet the ethic and moral standards in order for all of us to have a nice time in corporation and during the OP's.

  • Where to apply? If you already spoke to one of the recruiters then you can apply to our corporation in any station.
  • Warning! Don't apply before speaking with one of the recruiters please.

For more information regarding our corporation go to our in-game public channel EVE-RO.NET.

E-ON Magazine #021

Description - Issue #021 - Published 1st October 2010

IT'S STORYTIME
It's always been there, but EVE's storyline has never been the most overt aspect of the New Eden universe. All that's set to change with Incursion, as CCP is looking to bring the back-story firmly to the front. With player events back on the agenda and everyone from the mightiest 0.0 alliance to the lowliest high-sec miner invited to take part, it looks as if your reasons for doing what you do are about to get ever more dramatic.

CONSTRUCTING FANFEST
As we wait patiently for 2011's extravaganza on the roof of the planet, we take a trip back in time through Fanfests of old to discover how they came to be, why they came to be and who came to... uh, be them. Whatever. The moments that made CCP realize getting a large group of its players together under one darkened roof was all worthwhile, the lessons learnt, and what we can expect from future trips to the sunny shores of, er, Iceland.

SURVIVING EVE
Of course we love EVE more than life itself, but that doesn't mean that life should be neglected in the pursuit of one more can-flip or podkill. We take time out from staring at the monitor to examine ways to step back, smell the flowers and still appreciate our beloved game for all its worth but without becoming totally burnt out in the process. Remember traveller, a healthy capsuleer is a happy capsuleer and vice versa.

THE 50M ISK CHALLENGE
Give a bunch of pilots a (relatively) small lump of cash, tell them to spend it on whatever ship and fittings they think are best and record the results. Following Issue #019's 200 million ISK ship-building challenge, we thought we'd try it again but with a more modest amount. You'll be surprised just how far a tiny budget goes in New Eden's chop-shops these days.

PLUS
The Mod Delusion - how EVE's greatest fans are taking New Eden into other game engines, 'Condemned To Repeat' - an all-new, exclusive Chronicle of espionage and deceit from Danny Schalit, In depth 'Insider's Guides' to Militia Fleets, getting the most from EVE's communication tools and the first of a multi-part look at Drones, Interviews with EVE TV veteran and CCP Video Producer Stevie Ward and Technical Director and 'Lag Warrior' CCP Yokai, Behind the characters of Silentbrick, Niccolado Starwalker and Sakura Nihil, Profiles of Art Of War Alliance and Veneratio Venator Alliance, The latest news from CCP and the latest reports from 0.0 space, Postcards, Funnies, My Two ISK and much more

PEOPLE AND PLANETS
Tyrannis is here, and with it the feature they are calling Planetary Interaction. Inside the latest E-ON we have a guide to understanding how to make the most from New Eden's literal new landscape. ...But, hang on, where have all the people gone who live on all those surfaces (perhaps not so many on those lava ones)? How are we supposed to be benevolent or tyrannical when there are no insignificant proles to sell cheap electronics to in order to keep them in line? We ask whether as an attempt to breath new life into old New Eden, Tyrannis was an opportunity missed, or one soon to be realized.

STELLAR COUNCIL MATTERS
Keeping with the theme of people in EVE, we look at the work of the CSM, the volunteer body of EVE players who are elected to give CCP a players' perspective of EVE. It's been more than two years since the first Council was sworn in, since which time our various representatives have canvassed and cajoled for important changes. We ask whether those changes have been significant enough and try to gauge the CSM from the view of those that might vote for them.

BIG SHIPS, BIG TESTFLIGHT
Motherships were once a ship to be left at home, but as the re-named and all-improved Supercarriers they have become one of EVE's most important front-line vessels. Able to provide massive support, or deal vast amounts of anti-capital damage by deploying fighter-bombers, they are almost as versatile as they are massive. Which is why we devote a massive number of pages to fitting and flying them properly.

FREE POSTER*
Free with E-ON issue #020, we are giving away another ship poster; this time it's the cruisers of the Gallente Federation that line up in a sexy pose. That's right, never again will you have to rely on 'show info' to tell the difference between a Vigilant or a Deimos, as you can see how all the hulls line up by faction or tech level, together with handy fitting and hit point information so you know just what you're up against.

*FREE for every subscriber (while stocks last). This poster is also available rolled on thicker stock.

ESPIONAGE IN EVE
Like it or loathe it, spying in games has been around since dice were invented. It will likely be around until computers attain god-like sentience and do away with humans and their videogames altogether. But why do we sneak and snoop on each other in order to have fun, and why especially are such practises so endemic in EVE? Trapping three of New Eden's most renowned users of intelligence in an elaborate web of probing questions, we ask to what extent does espionage pervade our beloved universe and try to ascertain what acts of spiteful vengeance are committed. Finally, as they shriek for mercy under the heat of an Ikea desk lamp, we draw from our captive trio a few ideas about how spies and saboteurs might be kept locked out.

WAR ON TERRITORY
In part two of our look at Sovereignty, we turn from the distant past to the recent, looking at how Dominion has changed the way alliances look at and utilize their territory. In GoonSwarm's dramatic self-immolation, and CVA's overly ambitious urge to expand, two of New Eden's most robust alliances have withered in Dominion's shadow. Is EVE's most recent expansion to blame, or was it just another day in the universe we call New Eden? Between Nyphur's examination and our all-new-and-improved 0.0 Report, we try to find out.

BRAVE NEW WORLDS
Planetary Interaction is coming and with it will be a lot of stuff. We brave Singularity to look at how EVE's summer expansion is shaping up (round, mostly) and ask CCP Manifest and CCP Hammerhead to reveal what kind of stuff we can expect to see in Tyrannis and beyond.

BATTLECLINIC
More than just a repository for some of EVE's most useful tools, Battleclinic has proved itself to be one of the most respected and trusted gaming websites. It's been around for longer than most games; we chart its rise from the early days of paper play to its new-found status of must-have bookmark.

Description - Issue #018 - Published 8th January 2010

PAST FORWARD
For the last couple of months all people have been talking about is sovereignty. Sov this. Sov that. Sov the other. Being such an important part of EVE that's understandable, which is why we've devoted much of this issue to this very emotive subject. From a detailed look back at how conquest mechanics have shaped New Eden, to our regular look at the ongoing wars out in 0.0, we go one further and ponder the future of EVE in 2010, starting with the fallout from the Dominion release all the way to what we might see in the expansions over the coming months.

THE REAL SISTERS
It's been rumoured that females play EVE. Not just pretend ones with female avatars who sound weird on TeamSpeak, but real ones who can do something called 'multitasking'. Mynxee is one such creature and she's made it her mission to seek out others of her species to find out what it is about EVE that appeals to them and what their experiences of EVE are like. Meanwhile, two of CCP's most testosterone-free Devs reveal themselves in the latest series of In Crowd articles.

STAR GUIDES
Even if we do say so ourselves, the role-playing guide in this issue is particularly excellent. Why? Because it cuts to the very essence of what role-playing is and prepares you for a deeper and more satisfying EVE experience, as do our other three guides; to EVEmon, Singularity and Jump Clones.

FREE POSTER
It seems you guys loved the Caldari Cruisers poster we gave away with issue #016, so we've decided to do another one! This time (while stocks last) subscribers will receive a massive 841mm x 594mm wall chart showing all the Amarr Cruiser hulls (Tech I, Tech II and Faction) and how they relate to one another, so that you can spot the cosmetic and functional differences between the common Augoror and the Navy Issue variant with a simple glance. 'Show Info' has become a thing of the past, thanks once again to paper technology!
